Are your products organic?

French Squirrel products are always made with organic ingredients - vegan & gluten-free too!

How is your chocolate sourced?

We use organic dark chocolate to coat our Stuffed Dates and Chocolate Peanut Butter Clusters. Choosing the highest quality chocolate is very important to us - we never use gums, artificial flavorings or GMOs.

What is the best way to enjoy Stuffed Dates and Chocolate Clusters?

Cold. Straight out of the fridge! They do not have to be refrigerated, but recommended for taste.

How long does shipping take?

Typically 3-5 business days in non-summer months and 2-3 business days in summer months, depending on your shipping location.

Are your products kosher?

Our stuffed dates and date nut butters are certified OU kosher.

What happens if my order arrives melted? 

Our chocolate is made with real food ingredients and no preservatives. While we are proud of this, that means we can melt in the warmer months (unfortunately!). From May to October, we aim to prevent this by shipping with insulation and more cold packs, but sometimes the weather wins. We recommend adding Route shipping insurance to your order and to make sure you are able to refrigerate product ASAP upon receiving. If your order arrives melted, message us at bonjour@frenchsquirrel.com and we will resolve!

What if there is some discoloration on the chocolate-coated dates?

This is called "bloom" and it is completely normal! It does not impact the taste or safety of the product. The dark chocolate can occasionally discolor due to Medjool dates and their moisture content.

Can I return or exchange my shipment?

We unfortunately do not offer returns/exchanges/refunds unless an error on our part, due to food handling regulations. Please ensure all your shipping information is entered correctly.
